I hope that when my current laptop dies, a somewhat libre and linux-friendly alternative with an ARM chipset will be on the market.
You might not even have to log out: Just change the user in the terminal:
su - user2
Mine’s really simple; I just make the path bold and yellow:
What I like to do is change the colour depending on the machine I ssh into, e.g. make the path red on my Raspberry Pi.
