Half of it because random disconnect happened in the middle and download did not resume.

So you actually chose KDE, right?

kurcatovium@lemm.eeto Linux@lemmy.ml•Been enjoying Rhythmbox, what are your thoughts?English1·2 months agoSame for me. I was using foobar2000 back on windows. When I switched to linux I found out I set up my foobar basically the same as vanilla Clementine was set. So I was sold instantly. Later switched to Strawberry, because I felt Clementine is too long dead and it also started to glitch icons on newer qt for me. Strawberry is great.
Exactly that. Fuck that MS “knowledge” bullshit base.

I believe it’s called “overview” in shortcut section.
When I just want it to work for my needs (i.e. using just web browser for most people) there’s no difference. Except immutable is less prone to go wrong.
Good. I just quickly glanced at the site and there were multiple mentions of Ubuntu… Glad they switched to Debian, this way I might try it on second PC.
I had to turn it off (which is easy in plasma) because I have two different monitors and they have different brightness, so it was either first one insanely bright to other one being normal or first being normal to second barely dim.
How does immitable differ in this case?
Manjaro enters the room…
Or yours to not tinker and just use distros default. Right?
Isn’t it based on Ubuntu?
Wow, plasma looks great. Hope it gets official release soon.
The main difference is imo the preinstalled ( ery nice) theme /jk
Why cripple Gnome to something Knomeish when OP is already familiar with KDE and there are gazzillions of KDE distros?

Snapper on the other hand… That is a bit I praise the most! I still don’t get it why it’s not default for more distros…
Well, I have AMD too and I haven’t encounter either of them… so far. Hope it stays that way.
I too can easily recommend Tumbleweed. Very nice distro on its own.
You mean consistent like: “Ah, you still on windows ‘add version here’? Too bad, user experience/security/consistency/modern standards are our top priority so you have to have windows ‘add version here +1’ to be able to run our awesome app xyz”… Much better, right?
