Does OP genuinely think they could influence Affinity to support linux? Via freaking change.org?? Really, why is the post so well-received by community? Got so many questions.
Ah, this explains why linux kernel grew to be quite large. Thanks!

I am a male, yet I am weirdly offended by the adjective “female”…
Yeah, sadly some games still do not work well on linux. Recently I had issues with Talos principle 2, where it may randomly crash on loading screen.
Nah, I am not talking about hackernews buzz. I just thought it is dying couple of years ago.

someacnt@sh.itjust.worksto Linux@lemmy.ml•Planning to switch to Linux for my next PCEnglish2·4 months agoFlatpak (flathub) is a universal app store. You can install pretty much any app from it, but you do need to be careful of what you install, as always.
Usually software centers have it enabled (supported) by default, so that you can install app from flatpak within the center.
There are other options of install source, like the distro’s own installer - you can think of them as another “app store”, one which is more restricted and more secure.

At first glance it just seems like self-hosted project repository. What kind of benefits does it give, in terms of note taking?

Pardon my ignorance, but why people keep trying Linux phones when you can develop on top of open source android version, like GrapheneOS? Linux desktop apps are not exactly secure.
