Hi guys, as the title says looking for a good OpenVPN client for linux. I know OpenVPN 3 exists but it’s a pain to be honest. Edit:I know it is not perfect but I have found that the windscribe VPN Client for Linux supports adding your own VPN config files (both OpenVPN and WireGuard) and has a nice GUI . You don’t need to have a windscribe account to use it either. I don’t know if other VPNs clients also support this or not

Network Manger of KDE is a thing. Managing a buttload of options is still a pain. Been looking for a solution as well.

Every desktop has a GUI for VPNs, there’s the official OpenVPN client, Tunnelblick builds on Linux, and there’s SoftEther, but I kind of hate it.

The built in DE setups are the most streamlined and clean. Every option uses the same underlying libraries anyway.

I tried network manager but there didn’t seem to be a good way to lock it down and a low of traffic didn’t go through the VPN
