Out of curiosity, can a proposal be rejected how? Do they ignore or attack the pebble bringer? Do they pick the pebble and toss it away? How does it work?
When he finds The One (the rock, not the penguin yet), he waddles up to his crush and places it at her feet. Then he does this head-bobbing bow thing that’s basically penguin for “will you marry me?” If she picks it up and puts it in her nest, that’s a yes. If she ignores it, he waddles away with whatever dignity a rejected penguin can muster.
