I’m not sure how it would do multiple languages however, as I’ve not tried it.
As someone who types the majority of my thoughts in Frenglish, Heliboard is the only FOSS keyboard I’ve found that would remotely accommodate that while still having useful autocorrect.
I don’t have traditional TV service so I’m unfamiliar with what “shit” Google is pushing through the TV app. However, if it’s what I suspect (ads), a possible option would be using a local DNS server (like pi-hole or Unbound) to block Google domains on your TV.
I used to do social media for a small theatre company. I would have adored this rather than constantly fighting with the atrocity that is Meta Business Suite.
There’s screenshots under both the Google Play and IzzyOnDroid download links which are both listed on the GitHub page.
I agree that devs should add screenshots of their apps to their GitHub readme! But I have to point out you spent more effort writing this comment than looking for screenshots :P
That depends on your use case, I personally really only ever use RSS on my phone. Anyway, as others have mentioned, you can connect the app to FreshRSS for syncing.
Also, feel free to ignore this, but you could probably make your point without being so condescending. Something like “Cool, but the lack of apps across multiple platforms is a deal-breaker for me.” Calling someone’s work “cute, but […] useless” after they provide it for free to the community is kinda rude, especially considering it’s honestly one of the best actively-developped RSS apps for Android.
I love how 90% of replies are recommending software that isn’t open-source.
I’m usually against standalone apps for websites, but YouTube is one I definitely use enough to justify it, and Google seems intent on making the experience as miserable as possible. I use LibRedirect to send my browser to Piped instances, but FreeTube is much better for keeping track of my subscriptions.
I like Fluent Reader, it looks nice, can fetch full articles, and IIRC caches them locally for offline viewing, don’t quote me on that last one though.
