no dual boot. just jump in, the water is fine.
how can I get my emulators to see the same files on Fedora after a reboot? I use Syncthing to keep my saves on a few machines, but after each reboot I have to go in and set the folders up because the user folder path has changed.
Otherwise flatpaks seem perfectly chill to me
pie launcher is similar but with a quickdraw action for the commonly used apps.
once I got used to it I could never think about going back
been having some issues with it lately though and it’s tough!

Windows quantibulous
Oh man once this hits it’s gonna be so awesome!
My experience so far
Kodi (LibreELEC) was running rough on an old i5 4160 or something, when installed on an SD card. It also runs a little sluggish when installed on a Chromebook.
But I went back to that first PC with a real SSD and now kodi is running fantastic. On a fedora kinoite install
And paired with some commands for KDE Connect, and I’m pretty satisfied so far. It’s been about four days with it.
Can people get Bigscreen anymore?
Kodi is so close to being absolutely perfect
In root
In root again
Where am i? Let’s go to root
cd /
This was killing me until I had to reinstall x11 stuff
Whips?
It’s ‘just enough OS to run Kodi.’
I’ve done away with all rokus and apple TVs.
I use an emby server addon to play my local media. It has addons for streaming services, visualizers for music, RSS feeds on the Ui, screensavers that use my local pictures, integrates with home assistant, and libreelec has docker addons for more cool stuff!
No tracking, one easy to use UI for everything I’m trying to enjoy, and less attack platform for ads.
It’s cool!
I am using a couple of old chromebooks for LibreELEC and am pretty happy with that result
Tiny10 on a VM
I’m sluggishly in the middle of the same thing.
