Someone comment on this reply so I can down this and try it on my way back from Sam’s Club.
I can feel the bloat when I use it now. Like you need to get from point a to b in a hallway. It’s just you…and windows inflatable boat they fully inflated in the hallway between a and b. And you have to squeeze through to go to point b.

SynopsisTantilize@lemm.eeto Linux@lemmy.ml•how would you make a linux distro for extreme beginners in tech and elderly people??2·5 months agoI ran eOS for years. Something about it just seems…slow? Or maybe just behind. I found over time I was fighting the operating system just as much as I was Windows. But that may have been my own fault, as it was my first serious long term flirt with Linux

I’m not sure I’m capable of going back. Once your eyes are open to how much has been taken away from you…it’s like being a slave and running away to a free location.

My i7 8th gen 32gb 1060 MSI g65 stealth with a brand new battery gets 45minutes - 3 hours depending on what I’m doing…it’s atrocious.
I main a 1135g7 32gb dell latitude and that seems to be in the happy range of 3hrs-5hrs 3hrs being the more more common time. As much as I hate the plastic package I really go love the 1135g7 processor. Dell just sucks at making good hardware.
Thanks. I’ll fuck around today with it. Can I make it private? And should I be concerned about people taking my ideas and or code?
I’m asking this because I’m self learning and new. Is there a place I can host my code? I’ve been build a pretty robust app in visual code Windows Forms C#. I don’t want to advertise or anything. I just want to have the code hosted as a backup
