I thought this was the first usable linux phone?
The source code is open, but Its not traditionally open-source.
Thats good enough for me, but worth noting.
I was disappointed with this at first, until I loaded the “Cori” voiceset. It outshines the others

I couldn’t of said it better, I feel the exact same way. I’m not a complete FOSS zealot, if the source code is open and theres no shady business/trackers that’s good enough for me.
looks great! seems to be built for linux mint users as its focused on cinnamon - but only available through aur?
I do love haruna, the auto playlist has made it my favourite media player
“Anytype is good enough, but its not FOSS”
how so?
theres a cool preset called “futuristic” on the linux version (cool retro term) -with a bit of tweaking you can make it look like a terminal from the alien franchise
the app version also has facebook & google trackers embedded into it:

Its a great intro to a more privacy focused ROM than stock android - I got one for a friend who’s never used any other custom ROM before and he loves it.
This video of optimising the layout of libreoffice should be helpful;

Debian Stable + flatpaks. If I were to install it again, I would probably use spiral Linux.
I’ve moved to cachyOS, I’ve been getting into running local AI, and they offer an optional prebuilt SDK.
(with Debian I would have to install CUDA myself, which would cause issues on kernel updates)
