Non-zero is probably the best estimate you can get. They dgaf so far (at least I haven’t heard of ppl getting banned for stuff like that), they may find a few spare fucks to give in the future. So, kinda like that with discord.
I mean, it looks better than ayu, yet I personally don’t understand why don’t they base off of mercury. Also gh actions as opposed to releases are questionable given you need an account to download from there (on the other hand, it mb due to them using official client id & api key, so it’s more of a rant at being unable to use obtainium)
[Edit]: tested it, and apparently they do have unified push support, so that’s good. App manager detects 2 google mlkit -related trackers, which are probably due to the possibility of using google for translations. In other words, kinda lgtm to far
eat so much rice they even run their cars on it
So what exactly? It’s just a stereotype. A stereotypical Russian (that’s where I’m from) would be a gopnik babooshka in abibas riding a bear while playing a balalayka and drinking vodka… And guess what? We find it funny. Well, maybe except babooshkas: many find it weird you stress the “oo” syllable instead of the 1st ‘a’. It’d be the same with black guys and rap music or Texans and guns.
would you defend the n-word
If it originated as a stereotype, stopped being used offensively several decades ago, and was then repurposed into being a praise of sorts.
Allrighty, so here’s the comment: https://lemmy.ml/comment/16077970 Granted, not exactly how I phrased it at times, but the gist still stands.
body modifications
Citation needed, as they say. I only saw car bodies being modded.
your racism
Bold of you to assume I have smth against groups of ppl based on their race because I’m not into your* guilt complex about your* ancestors inventing X phrases and abusing Y groups of ppl.
Not trying to “worm out”, and still stand on the form being inferior to the meaning; just pointing out a commonly used coinword with the exact meaning ppl are looking for, 'cause at this point I’m inclined to see the world freeze.
* not necessarily yours in particular, just an assumption you’re from the US
I’m telling you the post explicitly asked about opinions, and the “wrong” ones that used the “r-word” happened to be blocked, and there is a comment from another mod that explicitly tells they’ll remove stuff using that. Although it’s a reasonably short comment that’s easily blocked from view with a medium-sized justice boner, so it’s understandable you’ve missed it.
Although, you’re somewhat right, the meaning of a slur was a bit off in my vocabulary. I’d still argue it isn’t one in context ('cause it neither refers to a person nor is it derogatory in its current form)… However, I’d also like to play along and give you folks another (and, arguably, a more worthy) which hunt target – chinesium. You know, currently a derogatory, currently refers to a particular nation, so…
The “r-word” in question refers to the being food discussed (although it’s not really a discussion, given we have the correct opinion and “your comment is getting deleted” opinion) in the post, since we’re apparently deleting comments for using it now. Hence the quotation marks.
As for the 1st paragraph, (a) i’m arguing it’s nowhere like using the n-word at all, and (b) it was said by the Asian dude, so I don’t see how so.
Should they’ve included a selfie or an id pic? Because when black ppl use that n-word you’re trying to draw parallels with (which, BTW, is still a derogatory towards a person and has no other meanings, as far as I’m aware) nobody gets offended. And, aside from the use of the “r-word”, their comment was a valid opinion on topic asking for that opinion
removed the offending comments
In one of which an Asian dude literally says it’s not used as a derogatory anymore. Talk about being offended for others
Given my code (mind)fucks only those who try to read it, you’re gay
So, basically, you make software that doesn’t work outside flatpak without patches, then start removed about how much those patches suck, then, instead of pretty much saying “we only support flapaks, stop bothering us with distro-related issues” on the issue page, you add even more stuff that needs to be patched out because “sesurity”? Makes perfect sense, ngl.
Actively resisting packaging is not the way, tho. You can just require an issue to be reproducible with flatpak, and otherwise tell ppl to bother the maintainer.
I suppose Microsoft doesn’t really care what ppl think or are comfortable with: it’s mostly OEMs that buy windows keys anyways, and they’ll continue doing so in the foreseeable future no matter how much windows sucks 🤷
As for w11 requirements, you also need a uefi, iirc. Here’s a random article on doing that: https://www.ctrl.blog/entry/how-to-win11-in-gnome-boxes.html
Depends on the distro. On arch you need to enable a few hooks, for example
I’m not sure I understood you correctly, is the problem just that you don’t know which uuid-s to use where? Cryptdevice corresponds to your sdb2, and root is /dev/mapper/b2open. Otherwise, provide the exact error
I don’t use browser extensions with it and just copy-paste stuff, unfortunately. Also it’s mostly a failsafe in case my vaultwarden instance goes tits up
On android, I guess, it’s smth like: heliboard, mull, eternity, tubular (a newpipe fork), antennapod, feeder, simplex, element and slightly patched mercurygram.
As for the desktop, Firefox, keepassxc, anyrun (the app launcher) and cosmic-term would probably be the GUI apps I use most often; occasionally neovide if I feel like drooling on those sick cursor animations, mpv if I want to watch stuff without distractions, or kicad if I’m into making some electronics-related pet project. Other than that, my workflow is mostly terminal-centric, so the fish shell, coreutils, neovim, moreutils – mostly vidir
for visual bulk renaming and vipe
for editing piped stuff in place (for one-time things that require, say, >2 sed
s) --, and so on.
Huh, nice to see those guys still have this weird KDE 3 fetish.
GuixSD then /jk
