I’ve had nohup fail to keep things running after my session ended quite frequently. It’s like it just goes to the next step in the process then gives up.

That’s not any fun
You’re not going to cause any permanent damage to your system messing around with system settings.
I don’t even getting an overview of what the meeting is going to be about. Sometimes I show up and I’m expected to be a SME on a project I’m only vaguely aware of, which is fun.
Otherwise fantastic company, though.
You’re supposed to have controls in place to prevent all of those concerns. I’m not saying passwords should be changed every 30 days, but 6 months is a long time.
But, companies with password expirations should be providing a password manager.
I didn’t realize updating IA-5 was part of rev5. We haven’t gotten to the IA family yet in our rev5 hardening yet.
You might want to let your IT department that 6 months is a really long time
Which I’m pretty sure they’re already gunning for Google, so this might be more evidence for their case.
I don’t give 7zip admin access to my system.
I’m not sure I’d give Russian software root access to my systems.
It’s not a clean install if you’re backing shit up!
Also, I just map my home directories to my NAS so I don’t have to worry about backups.
No, the site had 2 weeks. They decided to argue with CF until that deadline was up.
What a moron.
My company hired me specifically to help get everything from the only guy who knows the system documented.
Well, that’s how it started, at least.
Or just filling the paper tray (that’s what the error means)
Lol, no. ML is not capable of writing extremely complex code.
It’s basically like having a bunch of junior devs cranking out code that they don’t really understand.
ML for coding is only really good at providing basic bitch code that is more time intensive than complex. And even that you have to check for hallucinations.
The servers are very locked down, so I’m sure that’s part of our compliance requirements. I haven’t looked into fixing it because I just wrote a script to hit Enter every 10 minutes to keep it alive.
